in the small hours of the morning when mist is the chosen path of the thorn she breathes the world in and out until things lose their names like a flower its petals in early winter.
I don't know if this can be explained in gender terms, Peter. I think it is more a question of vision and style. I know male photographers who do this much better than me.
but talking about the gender issue in this case, I read this: http://www.blogher.com/4-reasons-why-women-may-very-well-make-better-photographers
I don't know how true this is or of you can discuss this in these terms (I don't like generalizations), but I liked "humongous egos" :-)
thank you, merc, for making me see the courage where I had only seen a kind of ecstasy. and abandon. it makes me shy when you say you liked my words in english.
Roxana! I appreciate your insight. Yes I wasn't considerate enough to talk about the gender term though man & woman have quite different taste of whatever. Mind & Body issue might apply but not always. And I agree ego supercede all those physiological differences. Really joyful to talk with you.. light of dawn.. Sometimes generalization is good excuse to start talking safe. :p
awesome.. I really feel the difference of gender. I will never have this kind of delicate & suave shots.. :)

ReplyDeleteLes clicher dans cette atmosphère des années 30 ou dans la brume du matin, cela ressemble à des films de Bergman étrange.
