    I can't think of anything meaningful to say, but this second photo does seem Russian-like for some reason.

    Not real thoughtfulness, but a smile that endures the sadness. And I love the way the hand and not the face receives the light.

    Who is this, btw?
    you seem to have an inexhaustible supply of women (to photograph, I mean).

    b, who on earth would expect something 'meaningful' from you? :-P (it is in fact a big compliment, even if it looks different, being the fact that you are the only supplier of cinnemon rolls which are believed to be the best weapon against time :-). who needs 'meaning' in this case).

    I understand what you say about Russian feeling, I guess it is such a deep-embedded tendency to think of Russian every time we see a melancholic woman lost in dreaming...

    but no, not such supply, I wish I had it :-) - in fact, there are only 2 or 3 women whose pictures I post (so far 'only', I hope). it is the same woman as here:

    j'ai aime ca, cette allusion a la complicite. c'est quelque chose a quoi je n'avais pas pense, mais depuis que tu me l'as dit, je suis arrivee a comprendre que c'est un aspect essentiel de ces images, du rapprochement de la personne aimee dans cette sorte de clair-obscur de l'ame.
