For the elements brought forth abundantly
The living Soul in glorious forms; and every one came forth,
Walking before her Shadowy face and bowing at her feet.
But, in vain, delights were poured forth on the howling Melancholy!
William Blake

ReplyDeleteSuddenly slipped into a dream...
Only with a great effort
Some hours later
Managed to return
To the real world
Around me
:::::::::::::::::::::::
And profoundest of thanks for your kind comments of late, I have noted with care in my list of projects to plan that there are abandoned automobiles along certain roadsides in Romania... can't wait to get there and go hunting for them... I'm thinking I may need a local guide to help me with the language barrier... my Romanian is...hmmm, inexistant ?
Sigh...
:-)
I love black and white.
ReplyDeleteAlways look forward to your posts.
Di.
Love, love, love the high key elements. Very striking and dramatic. I feel the need to have a campfire and tell ghost stories. :-)
Bises,
K'line
thank you for introducing me to this stunning blog - the pictures are amazing!
Nothing is the same without you, your art. Even dreams are dreamt upon a barren sky, until you've come to fill it, until you've touched its edge.
ReplyDeleteHi Roxana,
ReplyDeleteI love William Blake and the quote goes perfectly with your photography... this look of brushed steel once again transcends the medium somehow. I'm always tempted to try to deconstruct, but stop myself to just enjoy the emotions you awaken.
the feast of Los and Enitharmon
ReplyDeleteI'm ...proud thankful amazed smiling full of love thank you!
ReplyDeleteAnd now I have had time to recover...how did you make these stunning images? And how come your rain also looks like threads? And how perfect is this gift?I am genuinely a bit stunned.
ReplyDeleteelementary, dear watson! :-0
ReplyDeleteYour photography is unique.
ReplyDeletebonjour Roxana..
Owen - then it is perfect, the real world has seemed to be very busy and ugly with too much work recently, no? i hope this will change soon...
ReplyDelete(and no worries, local guide help is always available :-)
Thank you, Dianne, you are very kind.
Tree, a camp fire is also a nice idea :-)
hugs to you, dear friend...
thank you for visiting, Elizabeth, and for your nice words...
"Die Geisterwelt ist nicht verschlossen;
S., you came...
i miss you terribly.
your words... i will never forget them -
Bises élément terre !
There is something unrelenting and fierce about this rain ... something unrelenting and fierce about these flowers that stand up and sway under the rain ... being there, I am made stronger and new ... sometimes, you know, Melancholy is quiet for a moment, if you howl back at her!
ReplyDeleteSempre surpreendente, Roxana.
These are truly spectacular.
ReplyDeleteStickup artist, i know about these opposite tendencies :-)
ReplyDeleteand you love Blake, wow - i was wondering if there were still many people nowadays who like to read him.
Prospero: the Feast, always -
ah Susan, i am so so so happy you liked my gift! :-)
the secret is simple, no secret actually: i just photographed the rain as it fell under the light spread by huge lamps which illuminated the Grand Palais in Paris (now i also give away the secret location :-).
i am honoured to have you here on the Bridge!
anonymous, i am most happy to welcome Sherlock Holmes here on the Bridge (as i had a time in my - young! - life when i was quite in love with him) but i had no idea he was interested in art (he only played violin for relaxation, if i remember correctly) - and judging by his comment, he really has no clue here :-)
ReplyDeletethank you Robert -
bises...
James, you felt that: unrelenting and fierce, yes, exactly - i also have gentle, sweet rains (of course i do :-), but here i felt the entire force and fury of something primeval, which took hold of me...
ReplyDeletethank you, Adelino, you know, i am thinking of making a blue series soon, inspired by you :-)
-K-, i am happy you liked them.
oh, no, he has many "clues"...[you leave so many, dear Professor (Moriarty)]..it's just that the mystery always deepens, can never be solved.
ReplyDeleteyes, he likes art and artists because they live hand to mouth and he likes that: hand to mouth.
excelente! pe gustul meu imi place mult a 4-a , poti sa-mi trimiti o fotografie sa o printez?
ReplyDeleteThis is really good stuff! Infact I think it's amazing.
ReplyDelete"But, in vain, delights were poured forth on the howling Melancholy!"
ReplyDeleteno, no not entirely in vain, not this page in any case ....
howling haunting photos worthy of blake's blackest melancholy
