will i cease to be,
or will i remember
beyond the world,

  6. anon, hello, perhaps the first meeting has never existed, they have always known each other.

(sorry, a bit too melodramatic even for me :-) ah, how Izumi would look down on my pragmatic soul, what has the world come to, tsk tsk :-)

    Bises my dear !
    A bientôt femme secrète...

    Jeff

    Bises

PS : Tu fais quoi quand tu viendras en France ?...;-)))

  11. If you dare to stop breathing for ten seconds...it is this the desire to remember which appears during that time - and as the breathing continues for ever, it is this the time one will remember.

  14. i know you have different blood, in extremely positive & creative sense.., in interpreting the world through your own viewfinder..

    however the other thing
i've been being amazed is how perfectly and delicately you are communicating with the object.. whether it's organic or not..

    amazing and lovely..

    * maybe because you have Nikon than Canon for me.. :ppp

    Good night ROXANA!!!

  15. Centuries of theatre condensed on a single pair of perfect lips, in a gaze intense like an approaching storm, what thoughts linger under that brow, what birds flutter in that breast... the queen of mystery has struck again...

  17. Lovely ... this image has something of the quality of one of those old, pre-war Japanese movies ... is it Osaka Elegy I am thinking of?

As you say above, the interplay of light and shadow, joy and sorrow ... endlessly different and the same, endlessly fascinating, as it comes into being before your eyes, your eyes....

Robert, that breath that would be used to speak of what the heart is filled with... you have taught me that.

S., i know. another reason why you are so precious to me, my dear.

  19. hi Peter!

i think you have touched on a very important topic in this comment, important to me at least: "how perfectly and delicately you are communicating with the object.. whether it's organic or not.." - yes, that communication (beyond anything the intellect can offer) is essential to me. thank you for noticing...

    Owen :-)

"what birds flutter in that breast", i will remember this line...

    Prospero

James, this is one Mizoguchi i haven't seen, though i adore him. but of course i understand what you mean :-) it was my intention to give this feeling, it's all a matter of post-processing (now that the Logos has won over the Mythos, her legendary mysteries will start to decline :-)

  20. no ceasing
    why do we know so
    and go back and forth
    back and forth
on the same thread, the fire stretches and we dance ... sing, wonder... praise...

but i love the word "evening" and didn't know or remember till now.
