quietly back

If I should live long,

Then perhaps the present days

May be dear to me,

Just as past time filled with grief

Comes quietly back in thought.

Fujiwara no Kiyosuke

ながらへば
またこの頃や
しのばれむ
憂しと見し世ぞ
今は恋しき

  1. Thinking of the past, I always recall the beginning of the 'The Go-Between': 'Past is another country, we do things differently there.' Living only now, I know that when this present becomes a different past I will cherish it in this strange search for my self. And all the colours will blossom quietly.
