    it feels as though i look into a well but it's frightening. there would be water, this is sure, but the well seems bottomless.

      it all feels like this sometimes, doesn't it?

      but, perspective is everything! :-) even this tower can look differently, from a different angle, at another time - though i am not sure how it all ends for Rapunzel, hmm.

      i am adding another pic to prove this :-)

    The story has been told many ways..I recall in one version, the prince finds Rapunzel later...she has twins, they are his...happy ending!

      happy endings are so rare in novels, compared to fairy tales :-) my students always complain that the books they have to read are so sad!!!

    e straniu,iarsi nu mi-a luat comentariul,desi l-am pus de cateva zile,si acum vad ca apare deja o alta versiune a lui rapunzel,dupa ce scrisesem ca nu mai stiu bine povestea, si trebuia sa o invetez in minte,sa o rescriu, ca ca zic asa, sa incantez rugaminti catre turnul ei,catre aceasta minunata rapunzel,catre domnita care se ascunde , sau asa ni se pare noua,de jos, inntre minaretele parului ei.
    oh,rapunzel, imi vine sa ii spun acum, esti prea frumoasa ca sa nu ne auzi rugamintile...

      nu am primit un alt comentariu, nu ştiu ce ai făcut :-)
      mie nu-mi place povestea asta a lui rapunzel, dar nu am putut rezista să nu mă gândesc la ea, având aceste imagini... da, ca metaforă a ascunderii, deşi ea, acolo în poveste, nu o face de bunăvoie. şi a unei eterne captivităţi, am simţit eu...

      eterna captivitate, e terifiant daca privim totul.
      si eu, ca si Miriam, nu imi mai amintesc povestea. dar o pot reinventa. si poate e mai bine ca nu mi-o mai aduc aminte, nu? ;-)
