the poet said once leopards
they break into the temple and drink to the dregs
what is in the sacrificial pitchers,
this being repeated over and over again; finally
it can be calculated in advance,
and it becomes a part of the ceremony -

and you said too: you can guess why i said this.

yet the ceremony was taking place there, within her body bursting free through the night, her movements, sharp and hungry, tracing the outline of the field which was the only temple and the only thing which was repeated over and over again, at dawn, was how she broke down on her knees in front of the small thicket bearing white-glimmering flowers, out of breath, bruises on her skin, and had it been possible to calculate all this in advance and make her part of an order which wasn't hers, it wouldn't have been her any longer, and their delusion would have turned back against them, eventually, their gods blind and empty, their words hollow.

it is never possible to calculate all of this in advance, thanks God

    1. Tanja, i agree, though some things can be calculated in advance, to a certain extent, so maybe it all comes down to the question where and how to find the right balance...
as always, thank you for being here, with your open soul

      :-)

  9. 1.hi my beautiful friend. ahhhhhhh masterly works and words. {I just flew over on my new modem. I can't help but mention this.this is how I come to you heart and soul and computer in hand haha.It is amazing how the tech agents in the philipines take over my computer and have rescued it many times. Yesterday after some discussion they said I needed a new modem and so they sent me to a local store to get the freebie. woah it is sooooooooooo fast.haha.
anyway down to the dream at hand wow I love the way the subject melts into the landscape in the final photo- all the photos are very powerful. How I love your powerful words-the ceremony was taking place there within her body bursting free through the night.I find this writing to be very rich because it is so layered. It is unlikely due to this layring that I will tap into your dream interpretation but I will offer mine in a vase of the mind a ritual sacrificial vessel that reality may turn over as spilt wine.

wine kisses my friend. see you later.

i am happy you like both images and words here, both were equally important to me, in this case...
      kisses back, dear Madeleine...

  10. 2. so yes I meant the ceremony of the seasons running through the blood-her movements sharp and hungry tracing the outlines of the fields-how I love that line and the ceremony of the menstrual cycle ruled by the moon and the eternal birth cycle, like sacrificial vessels within the body.-oh and yes perhaps the body itself a ritual vessel.
    beautiful!
thankyou have a gorgeous autumn day.

  11. Having already attained epopteia (twenty seven times at last count), i find that participating in these ceremonies comes second nature to me. i usually bring the flowers (subtropical islands always seem to cough up a surfiet of bouquet material).

But, switching gears, I just had a thought (unrelated, as usual). You should make a video about butterflies--that would be dandy as it would make lepidopterists, such as myself (and others presumably), quite happy.

    1. hahaha

thank you for making me remember the word epopteia :-)))
the big question is of course which video would be easier to make for me: about butterflies or about leopards (and in her dream world, anything can be a butterfly or a leopard, anything can be anything :-)
