drinking xi hu long jing
The best quality tea must have creases like the leathern boot of Tartar horsemen, curl like the dewlap of a mighty bullock, unfold like a mist rising out of a ravine, gleam like a lake touched by a zephyr, and be wet and soft like a fine earth newly swept by rain.
(Lu Yu, died 804, Chinese sage)

ReplyDeleteHi Roxana, was just showing your beautiful (heart-wrenchingly beautiful) blog to la Grenouille, and we were both exclaiming "oooh" and "aaahhhhh" over each ever more lovely image as we went way back in time together through your... blog... your... life... I'd never gone so far back before on the Floating Bridge... what an amazing voyage it is. And so surprising that many of the early posts have no comments, so we thought it was time to change that, and adopt one or two, leaving our comment on un-claimed comment box territory... so from the Grenouille and I : We love this teapot... it's gorgeous, and today is just the day for a good hot cup of tea in the gray afternoon chill of Autumn...
So beautiful the early work on the Floating Bridge...
A fine weekend to you...
Ciao
