  2. Beautiful. I am sure it is not the last summer day, but that there will be many more. (-:

  3. This wildflowery triptych adduces certain perennial truths: i ascertain that our intrepid heroine ends up alone, her tow-haired suitor (a doppelgänger, so typical in these late summer romances) vanishing like a pocket full of change at a penny arcade. (i'm referring to the penny arcades of old, naturally, for credit cards and internet bingo have today gained favor).

  7. But with such delicate flowers still in bloom how can we say goodbye to summer? :(
It is leaving us here, too, and I lament that I will look back on it and say, I was only slightly there.

  8. we wait for those summer days, dark only for a few hours. and the open field, where it is permitted that I remember you.

  9. the purest enchantment of a summer day that lasts eternally and is gone too quickly ... the last photo is magnificent, and i can't stop believing that she looks from the final edge of the summer into the approach of autumn, feeling the first shiver of cool air along her arms, even at her age ...

  10. Why is it that the Floating Bridge touches one's soul like nowhere else on the internet, or in the universe ?

Those eyes in the third picture, an infinity of emotions...

  11. ah my beautiful friend thankyou for this magnificent masterpeice filled with joy. YES we are dancing on the bridge.with these beautiful children and the ecstatic earth draped in a brilliant yellow landscape.

for me in this photo each daisy petal is a golden glorious forget me not to the future spectrum of the summer of humanity and the one after that and the one after that to the eternal golden thread spinner of summers and the messianic coming and the eternal febrile fertility rain pouring over the parched soul and the child couple's joyous anticipation of eternal procreation of the neverending new generations
and the rebirth of luminous sunbeamed thoughts of forget me nots presented in a bouquet to the goddess of the floating bridge of dreams.
    sending you golden summer kisses.

    ps. that was fun.

let's keep dancing even through winter storms.
I am just rambling on here but one winter I remember writing about a newly found love and I said how powerful the love was and perhaps because the love had entered my life unexpectedly and therefore with more force.

  13. reminds me of what really matters in life: "the sunny disposition of a child"... then the change of seasons is of no essence, isn't it? ...
thank you for these enchanted series, roxana!
    gorgeous, as always.

  14. I'm speechless at that last photo, such symbolism and an eeriness I can't describe. probably my second favourite photograph of yours.

  15. why is there so much sadness in your pictures?! or is it just us?

  17. and my soul breaths through these fields.
my god is love and light but the catholic prayer book can be a source of inspiration and meditation for me and I read a beautiful line how God is the harvester and our souls are the field and this post inspired me to reflect on this -yes we are fields of light and love.

  18. Such scenes I can only dream of from my "harsh" and sandy environment. Makes me think of the movie title "Field of Dreams." The last image is particularly haunting. I use that word often in my comments here, but I mean it in the best of ways. (Unforgettable is just too light a word).
