  2. You can always count on me, my dearest, to be distracted by shiny objects. Is that a mermaid i see in the clouds? Perhaps i see her in the nebulous waters too? i am hopeless at avoiding her spectral traces. Of this, i am sure.

  3. Swimming with mystical fish, we climb through the clouds, into darker realms where the goddess dwells, and where darker lights twist infinite braids across the universe... indeed, you help show us the entrance to those infinte paths, across the bridge, which lies waiting, floating...

    We shall walk across it when the time is ripe ...

  4. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    MERCI Roxana.

  5. Mmm. Cool tones and silvers will soon give way to deeper hues and golds. All are superb but I especially love the second and third ones with the dancing sparkling sense of cool wetness and also the electricity of the fish. Thanks for turning me on to Thomas Feiner. I enjoyed that song very much.

  6. how many dream women and secret women do you know?!

    :-)

    (an innocent smile, just in case you're wondering)

    love the third. I know there's a story to these pictures-just can't work out what it is.

    Orr?

    hope you are well.

  8. desi intotdeauna spun cu greu"niciodata",poate niciodata nu am simtit in imagini aceasta declansare cosmogonica atat de fragil si minutios iscata din ape amniotice;nu as putea prefera ceva ,nu as putea alege,din covarsitor.dar este ,pentru mine,o logica de sticla in felul in care lumea s-a intrupat si se intrupeaza;mi-ai alungat orice intrebare

  9. there was a great storm brewing over Craiova. And then something fell from the great skies on the last day of summer. There was no time to think, it happened so suddenly. Fish looked up and saw something like an old tree but it was hard to say, since it was more like a dream. Mustn't get tangled in these weeds, he thought to himself. And then, sadly: 'Am i the only one here, or did she fall as well?... There is no Tigris in the fish, there is no fish in the Tigris'. And then he looked inside his heart and saw something wondrous...

  10. I wish all humanity could see this post. We could dream forever together in peace and contentment.

    The second image fills me with pure joy.

  11. Float into it, dive into it, dream into it, become lost to it...the passing of summer, the siren song. Who knows in what land we will resurface?

  12. Quel post extraordinaire !

    Because after all the universe is interelated and the pulse of the universe is felt by all.One action, one word in any colour of the nuances of the spectrum has its impact.

    I'd like to share with you a related experience to what I mentionned.
    I was so used to using the emotional side of my brain that I finally on my own, nothing major, I decided to study some physics and ew Roxana it felt so good ha ha. Two worlds crashed I felt at first but not really when you probe into it. Anyway it led me to write this verse and at an open mike poetry the tv cameras came ant I got to shout it out.
    Anyways I had a cosmic feeling when I wrote it and read it. I would like to share it with you--I like writing free verse -the lazy way ha ha.

    Starfire

    A recent mad noble prize winning physicist tells me that the orbits of our atoms extend thousands of light years into space

    and I believe him with all my heart and mind

    therefore I have spent pale yellow mornings on Saturn's rings

    I have skimmed the icecrust of the jovian moon

    the northern lights bring me delerious delights

    and the constellation libra shapes my backbone

    therefore I must know the universe of you

    I travel the infinite design of your mind

    I unfold into your lotus

    I am the alpha and the omega

    I have seven glorious early morning stars and I give you one*

    to illuminate your dreams with starfire.

    Well thankyou again for this masterpeice and I hope you enjoyed my verse.

    It was so cold here for a while but now the sun is out and when we have an autumn in my canadian city it is soooooooooooogorgeous.It looks like the landscape is preparing for its flamboyant dance. Oh ha ha , I feel so sleepy in the autumn, I guess I am getting ready to hibernate ha ha like the canadian bears.

    Every year this little tree turns red first and I think about writing a kids story about that. This year I might.

    have a beautiful magical day as usual.

    see you on your next post.

    Je reviendrai plonger à tes côtés, ma sœur poisson...

  23. Sorry...

    Les sirènes

    Les Sirènes chantaient... Là-bas, vers les îlots,
    Une harpe d'amour soupirait, infinie ;
    Les flots voluptueux ruisselaient d'harmonie
    Et des larmes montaient aux yeux des matelots.

    Les Sirènes chantaient... Là-bas, vers les rochers,
    Une haleine de fleurs alanguissait les voiles ;
    Et le ciel reflété dans les flots pleins d'étoiles
    Versait tout son azur en l'âme des nochers,

    Les Sirènes chantaient... Plus tendres à présent,
    Leurs voix d'amour pleuraient des larmes dans la brise,
    Et c'était une extase où le coeur plein se brise,
    Comme un fruit mûr qui s'ouvre au soir d'un jour pesant !

    Vers les lointains, fleuris de jardins vaporeux,
    Le vaisseau s'en allait, enveloppé de rêves ;
    Et là-bas - visions - sur l'or pâle des grèves
    Ondulaient vaguement des torses amoureux.

    Diaphanes blancheurs dans la nuit émergeant,
    Les Sirènes venaient, lentes, tordant leurs queues
    Souples, et sous la lune, au long des vagues bleues,
    Roulaient et déroulaient leurs volutes d'argent.

    Les nacres de leurs chairs sous un liquide émail
    Chatoyaient, ruisselant de perles cristallines,
    Et leurs seins nus, cambrant leurs rondeurs opalines,
    Tendaient lascivement des pointes de corail.

    Leurs bras nus suppliants s'ouvraient, immaculés ;
    Leurs cheveux blonds flottaient, emmêlés d'algues vertes,
    Et, le col renversé, les narines ouvertes,
    Elles offraient le ciel dans leurs yeux étoilés !...

    Des lyres se mouraient dans l'air harmonieux ;
    Suprême, une langueur s'exhalait des calices,
    Et les marins pâmés sentaient, lentes délices,
    Des velours de baisers se poser sur leurs yeux...

    Jusqu'au bout, aux mortels condamnés par le sort,
    Choeur fatal et divin, elles faisaient cortège ;
    Et, doucement captif entre leurs bras de neige,
    Le vaisseau descendait, radieux, dans la mort !

    La nuit tiède embaumait...Là-bas, vers les îlots,
    Une harpe d'amour soupirait, infinie ;
    Et la mer, déroulant ses vagues d'harmonie,
    Étendait son linceul bleu sur les matelots.

    Les Sirènes chantaient... Mais le temps est passé
    Des beaux trépas cueillis en les Syrtes sereines,
    Où l'on pouvait mourir aux lèvres des Sirènes,
    Et pour jamais dormir sur son rêve enlacé.

    Albert Samain

    Je suis pratiquement convaincu que tu es une sirène Roxana...:)... avec de longs cheveux ( J'l'ai pas dit ! )...:)

  25. thank you, my dear readers, for being here, with me, so close, on that last day of summer. now i would only like to leave your beautiful, luxurious words float around the Bridge, in these translucent green-blue waters, endlessly...

    however (and regretfully), i am forced to add something:

    from now on, and against my wish, a more severe comments moderation policy will be applied, in the sense that i will not post comments in which other blog readers are attacked/insulted or the limits of (what i consider to be) courtesy and decency are transgressed.
    the Bridge is an open place of sharing beauty and joy and i intend to maintain it like this, for as long as it lives. of course, this doesn't mean than all thoughtful interpretations and meaningful criticism are not welcome, on the contrary, you know that i have always loved to hear different opinions and engage in detailed (sometimes heated?) discussions.

  28. I love the rain clouds, and the rain.

    I had to come and see who had left the comment at Lydia's first Old Postcard Wedensday about how it is like "plunging my hands into time." That is just...singular.
